Supernova, within a platform that keeps model choice open.
Supernova is NeuroCluster’s model offering. Model ownership, base-model provenance, hosting and independence are separate facts to verify for a deployment.
The offering and the current evidence
Supernova supports the reasoning part of the broader NeuroCluster platform. It does not replace the need for source context, task evaluation, permissions or human review.
The current platform source catalogue names Supernova 4 and describes a local/on-cluster Ornith 1.5 route. That configuration is source evidence; it does not independently establish which weights are currently loaded or where a particular live request is processed.
Model card — reviewed 21 October 2026
| Field | What is supported or still required |
|---|---|
| Offering identity | Supernova is the NeuroCluster model offering, as identified by the owner. |
| Catalogue entry | Supernova 4 / supernova-4, provider NeuroCluster, configured local hosting. |
| Base-model lineage | The catalogue describes Ornith 1.5. Exact checkpoint and upstream lineage require verification. |
| Weight rights and modifications | Not established by the evidence reviewed for this page. Verify ownership, modifications and permitted use. |
| Training and data provenance | Not verified. Branding does not establish training origin, data rights or the jurisdictions of upstream contributors. |
| Licence | Verify the licence of the selected checkpoint and any modifications before use. |
| Inference placement | A local/on-cluster route is configured in source. Confirm the actual host, region, operator and logging boundary for the deployment. |
| Other providers | The platform also supports optional provider routes. Policies and the selected configuration determine dependencies. |
| Evaluation | No benchmark, accuracy, latency or cost advantage is claimed here. Evaluate the intended task and operating boundary. |
Independence needs a defined boundary
A NeuroCluster model offering and a local inference option do not by themselves prove non-US base-model origin or end-to-end supply-chain independence. Review weights, licences, infrastructure, dependencies and outbound routes separately.
Research remains distinct
